How we handle your contracts
You're trusting us with documents that matter. This page says plainly where they go, who can see them, how long we keep them and how to delete them.

Where they go Our servers are in the United States. To produce AI results, the text of your contract is also sent to AI providers. Our Privacy Policy names each one and where it processes data.
Who can see them Only your account. Our team opens contract content only to fix a problem, handle your request or meet a legal obligation.
Deleting Delete any contract at any time. Close your account and we delete your data within 30 days.
Where your contracts are processed
We send each provider only what its task needs, without your name, email address or account ID. Contracts themselves often contain names, so keep that in mind.

Who can see your contracts
- Only you, in your account. DealMate checks that you're allowed to open an item before showing it.
- Our team opens contract content only when it's needed to fix a problem, handle your request or meet a legal obligation, and only as much as needed.
- If you report a problem, we look at the contract only if you allow it, and we delete our copies when the problem is closed.
- We don't sell your data, and we don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep them
- Contracts, and the reviews and comparisons linked to them: until you delete them or close your account.
- Original files you upload: deleted within 30 days after you delete the item they belong to, or close your account.
- Encrypted backups: daily backups for 30 days, monthly backups for 12 months. Deleted data can stay in a backup until that backup expires.
How to delete
- Delete a contract at any time. That also deletes its versions, and the reviews and comparisons linked to it. Conversations and review rules are deleted separately.
- Close your account from your account settings. We delete your account data within 30 days.
- For anything you can't do yourself, email dealmate@onecontract-cloud.com.
Security
- Every connection uses HTTPS, including our connections to AI providers.
- Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
- Database backups are encrypted.
- We don't hold security certifications such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 yet. If a data breach affects you, we'll tell you, as the law requires.
